History of the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel

Built in 1965, the four-story hotel was originally known as the Sheraton Anaheim Motor Hotel. The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel is a smoke free property. Additionally, it’s a member of the Premier Hotel Collection.

How To Get There

From Los Angeles

The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel is conveniently located off Interstate Highway 5 at the Disneyland Drive exit. Heading south on Disneyland Drive, turn left on W. Ball Road, then right on Ox Road.

From LAX

From LAX, you can take either the I-105 east from S. Sepulveda Boulevard, then to the I-405 south to I-5 south. From I-5 south, take the Disneyland Drive exit, then left on W. Ball Road and right on Ox Road. Alternatively, you can  take I-405 south to I-605 north. From there, take California 91 east to I-5 south, to the Disneyland Drive exit

Leaving John Wayne Airport, Orange County

From John Wayne Roadway, take Highway 55 north to Highway 5 north. From Highway 5 north, take the Ball Road exit. After you cross the freeway overpass, take the first right at Ox Road.

Traffic Conditions

All motorists are advised to know that traffic can be particularly heavy during morning and afternoon/commutes. Motorists are also advised to use a reliable navigation app for mobile devices like Waze, Google Maps or MapQuest, and remain attentive at all times while traveling to and from the hotel.

Averaging an impressive room size of 500 square feet, each of the 489 guestrooms come equipped with pillow top beds, down comforters and premium bedding, in addition to conveniences like refrigerators, coffee makers, free WiFi, cable TV and air conditioning.

The hotel offers several different room types to choose from, such as standard rooms with two queen beds, Castle Bunk Rooms with a queen bed and medieval-styled bunk beds, Turret Suites with separate living rooms and king beds, and the two-level Majestic Hotel Suite.

The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel offers a number of hotel specials throughout the year. This includes special rates for AAA members, active and retired servicemen and women, as well as discounted rates and specials for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders. Dining Options

The Anaheim Majestic Garden offers many dining options, including California Deli, Garden Court BistroGarden and Court Lounge. In addition, there’s the Pool Bar for snacks and drinks. Of course, guests can dine in their rooms during designated hours. Lastly, is the newest signature restaurant, Hanagi, serving gourmet Japanese cuisine.

Hotel Services & Amenities

Among the hotel’s nice amenities are an outdoor swimming pool with a spa tub, fitness center, a gift shop, game room with pool tables and video games.

Additional Services

In addition to a friendly and multilingual 24-hour front desk staff, the hotel also offers bell hop and luggage storage services, accessible facilities with wheelchair access, dry cleaning and laundry services, concierge and tour/ticket information, and a complimentary Dream Machine shuttle service with friendly drivers to Disneyland Resort that runs twice an hour during park hours.

The hotel’s shuttle parks in a designated area at the Disneyland Main Transportation Center reserved for hotel shuttles, tour buses and public buses. Please note that there may be a line of customers already waiting for the next shuttle to the hotel from Disneyland, particularly during the busy summer months.

Parking

Plenty of spots for self parking are available on site for a daily rate of $18. Access to the parking lot is through a gate arm operated by an attendant or by using the hotel’s parking card, which is separate from the guestroom key card.

Pets

The hotel welcomes pets of any size for an additional fee of $50 per stay. However, cats and dogs are only permitted in specific and designated two queen bed traditional rooms. The pet fee is waived for service animals. Pets must be accompanied by an owner(s) at all times. Visitors traveling with pets must make special arrangements in advance of arrival.

Pets On Shuttle Buses

Leashed animals are permitted to ride the Dream Machine shuttle bus and Disneyland offers dog kennels for a fee and with paperwork from a veterinarian required.

Magician David Minkin

The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel features an award-winning magic show from David Minkin on selected dates throughout the year. An International Champion of Close-Up Magic, Minkin’s Evening of Enchantment is the longest running, one-man magic show in Los Angeles and was once named LA’s “Best Magical Date Night”.

Princess Corinne

Keeping to its castle-like motif, the Anaheim Majestic Garden has its very own princess! Princess Corinne makes regular daily appearances, with a schedule posted on the hotel’s digital display or at the Golden Princess Desk located in the lower lobby.

Appearances

Princess Corinne’s schedule includes a visit during the breakfast hours at the Garden Court Bistro, during Story Hour held in the lobby and for an additional fee, during Majestic Movie Night just outside the hotel. Princess Corinne is also available for returning fan letters and a wonderful Wake-Up or Tuck-In Service for an additional fee and with a 7-day advance reservation.

The hotel offers more than 20,000 square feet of event space with multiple floor plans and full A/V capabilities, for meetings, corporate events, weddings and other special events.
