Health/Safety Protocols

Strict health and safety protocols are in place to ensure that each visitor has a comfortable stay. Hand sanitizers are available in the lobby and other public places. Additionally, enhanced cleaning protocols are being used in both public places and in each guest room. All staff and guests are required to wear safety masks and maintain social distancing. Each of the 200 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites with an impressive collection of amenities. This includes fine furnishing, flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi and spacious bathrooms. Rooms also features Westin’s Heavenly Beds as well as high-quality Westin Heavenly Shower Systems. Room categories start from King Rooms to lavish, two-room Presidential Suites. King Rooms can also come with fitness equipment. The luxury hotel also offers a number of accessible rooms. Additionally, a selection of rooms and suites are pet-friendly.

 

Pet Policy

The Westin Poinsett welcomes one pet weighing up to 40 lbs. per room. A fee of $75 per room per night will be added to the guest bill. Guests must sign a waiver upon check in.

The Westin Poinsett features three dining facilities. The hotel’s signature restaurant is the award-winning Spoonbread Restaurant. Currently open for breakfast and lunch, Spoonbread Restaurant offers classic American dishes with an exceptional Southern flair. Guests are encouraged to check ahead for any health and safety restrictions. Rooms service is also available. The Westin Poinsett also features the Lobby Lounge for dinner and drinks and Joel’s Java for on the go items. Due to COVID restrictions, seating has been reduced at each of the dining facilities. Other safety protocols include single use menus and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

Fitness Center

The third floor fitness center offers cardio equipment, free weights and exercise balls. Guests have use of high-quality treadmills, elliptical trainers and stationary bikes. Water and towels are also provided, in addition to hand sanitizers. Guests can also inquire with hotel staff about bicycle rentals. Due to current health and safety protocols, only three guests are allowed at a time in the fitness center.

Guest Services

In addition to valet parking, a number of other guest services are available. This includes complimentary Wi-Fi in public areas, room service and valet dry cleaning. Self-parking is available in a garage facility adjacent to the historic building. The hotel’s concierge can make also arrangements for car rentals and provide information on local attractions. At this time, a hotel shuttle is not available. A full-service business center offers services like faxing, post/parcel and network/internet printing.

The Westin Poinsett offers more than 10,000 square feet of event/conference space although COVID restrictions are currently in place. The largest spaces are the 3,250 square foot Gold Ballroom and Poinsett Ballroom. Each can be configured into private events like holiday parties or receptions. Other options include the 840 square foot Francis Marion Room and 390 square foot Palmetto Room.
