About the Stables Inn
Opened in July the Stables Inn is an upscale yet moderately priced property in Paso Robles. Located just blocks from the heart of the city, the Stables Inn is the sister property to Hotel Cheval, also in Paso Robles and named TripAdvisor’s No. 1 Small Hotel in the U.S. in 2018. The dog-friendly Stables Inn features western-themed rooms in addition to a very friendly, energetic and hospitable staff led by manager Lindsey Sparkman.

The Stables Inn offers 19 nicely appointed rooms designed with a distinctive western flair. Standard rooms are available as either a California King Room or Double Room. California King Rooms can accommodate up to two guests while Double Rooms can accommodate from two to four guests. Of the 19 rooms, four are Double Rooms while the others are California King Rooms and the signature Bunk House.
Each of the rooms features several impressive amenities. This includes luxury bedding with Egyptian cotton sheets, en-suite bathroom with shower, premium toiletries and 43” smart TV. Each room also features original western-themed artwork from local artist Anne Laddon, mini fridges and complimentary Wi-Fi. Additional amenities include a closet or hanging storage, workstation with multiple USB ports and wine glasses to use at the outdoor fireplace. Complimentary bottled water is also provided in each of the rooms. Microwave ovens are also available upon request. Complimentary coffee, tea and pastries are available at the Inn’s Tack Room.
Stables Inn Bunk House
Parties of up to six guests will enjoy the 480 sq. ft. Bunk House. Conveniently adjacent to the guest services area, the Bunk House features four bunk beds with a step ladder and king bed. Like the King and Double Rooms, the Bunk House has amenities like Smart TV and fine linen and bedding. Additionally, the Bunk House has a central communal table, spacious armoire, additional seating. Guests also have a private entrance and patio.

The Tack Room
Connected to the lobby via a glass door is the Tack Room. Named after a storage room for horse riding equipment like saddles and bridles, it houses the coffeemaker and pastry section. Additionally, a Keurig espresso maker is available. Comfortable seating is provided for guests, along with a potbelly fireplace and artwork.
Just steps away from all rooms is a beautiful outdoor seating area with a fireplace and wine bar. Centrally located onsite, complimentary wine is served on a rotating basis. Guests can also socialize here at their leisure.
Complimentary Onsite Parking
The Stables Inn has a spacious parking lot for all of its guests. There is no fee for parking. Also onsite for electric vehicles is a Siements` VersiCharge Universal Vehicle Charging Station.
The Stables Inn allows up to two dogs per room. The fee is $25 per dog, per day and a pet waiver must be signed at check-in. Dog treats are available in the lobby/guest services. There is no fee for service dogs. However, the Stables Inn requests that advance notification of a service dog be given prior to arrival.

Downtown Paso Robles – The heart of Downtown Paso Robles is four blocks away. Downtown Paso Robles offers several shopping and dining options. Suggested dining include La Cosecha Bar & Restaurant and Jeffrey’s Wine Country BBQ. Among other attractions in Downtown Paso Robles are City Park and Paso Robles Children’s Museum.
Paso Robles Intermodal Station – Central station for local bus and Amtrak service is two blocks away
Wineries & Wine Tasting – With over 300 wineries, visitors have several to choose from. Suggested stops include Alta Colina, Justin Winery and Thacher Winery in the Santa Lucia Mountains west of Highway 101. Several more options can be found in Tin City, a collection of wine tasting rooms and boutique stores. Wine tasting recommendations to consider at Tin City are Giornata and Union Sacré Winery.
Paso Robles Events Center
Although temporarily closed, the Paso Robles Event Center is one of the signature attractions in the city. Located just west of Highway 101 at Highway 46 East, the Events Center is home to the California Mid-State Fair. Each year, the Mid-State Fair hosts rodeo competitions and a large number of world-class music artists. Among those who have appeared are Aerosmith, Jason Aldean, Justin Bieber, Fergie, Journey, Blake Shelton and Rod Stewart
