Silicon Valley Location

Set in the heart of Silicon Valley, TETRA Hotel is within a short distance of major  tech firms and local attractions. For instance, Googleplex is minutes away as are Intel and LinkedIn. What’s more, Google Cloud Space and the Lockheed Martin Visitor Center are just a short walk away. As for attractions, Great America, Shoreline Amphitheatre, Computer History Museum and Levi’s Stadium are nearby. TETRA Hotel is also within a short drive of some of the Bay Area’s best universities, including San Jose State University, Santa Clara University and Stanford University. Of course, San Jose International Airport and Moffett Field are within a short drive of your Silicon Valley hotel.

Ride Share or Public Transportation

if you prefer to leave your car at the hotel, you can ride share or take public transportation to upcoming events like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Luke Bryan and San Francisco 49er games. What’s more, there is a VTA stop for the Orange line just a short walk from TETRA Hotel. From there, you can take the Orange Line and go directly to the Great America VTA station for Levi’s Stadium. The Orange Line won’t be hard to find as the VTA light rail track runs right past the front entrance of the hotel. In case you were wondering, the VTA’s light rail service does not make much noise as it travels along the tracks. Together with special events, you can also take the light rail to other Silicon Valley businesses.

TETRA Hotel features 186 nicely appointed guest rooms and 14 suites, including the 929 square foot TETRA Suite. Other rooms sizes range from 340 square feet for the King room to the 538 square foot Junior Suite and 890 square foot Suite with Mountain View. Each guest room and suites come with stylish furniture and impressive floor to ceiling windows. In addition, guest rooms and suites feature modern conveniences like flat screen TV, coffeemaker, laptop compatible safe and complimentary Wi-Fi. That’s not to mention marble floors in bathrooms, along with fine bath and body products from Min New York and a Dyson hairdryer. Even more amenities is a plush TETRA-branded bathrobe and Bellino bath slippers.

Current Specials

You can take advance of TETRA Hotel’s current specials by booking directly through its official website. At this time, there are deals and packages like a Work Week Warrior that includes a $50 meal credit and early check-in and a Stay & Dine, featuring a $50 credit at Adrestia restaurant. Equally important are other special rates, like a 20 percent savings for Marriott Bonvoy members and discounts for a minimum stay of 5 nights.

Pet Friendly

If you want to bring your family pet along for your trip, that’s no problem at pet friendly TETRA Hotel. While not every Silicon Valley hotel allows your furry friends, this is a most welcome exception. This AAA Four Diamond hotel allows two pets at 25lbs maximum for a non-refundable fee of $150 per stay. While no information is available online, you should probably notify hotel staff in advance that you’re bring your favorite pet.

TETRA Hotel Parking

You can valet for $28 daily or self-park your car for $22 daily at the adjacent parking structure, with convenient street access. This covered lot also features nine electric car charging stations, with charging at no additional fee. Please note that TETRA Hotel shares this parking structure with its adjoining but separate property AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park.

Dining at TETRA Hotel

Adrestia

While TETRA’s stunning architecture and fine furnishings are clear highlights, its dining options are equally impressive. Above all is the upscale dining at Adrestia, featuring creative California cuisine with Asian influences. TETRA’s signature restaurant is led by executive chef Hideki Myo a Tokyo native whose resume includes over 20 years at leading restaurants in San Francisco. Adrestia is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. On Fridays, Chef Myo offers a Friday Family Supper for $150 per four guests and includes items for the table and entrees. In like manner are fabulous dishes from the dinner menu, such as Petaluma rotisserie half chicken ($39) and 40oz Creekstone tomahawk bone-in ribeye steak ($185).

Additional Dishes, Cocktails, Beer & Wine

Your dinner menu allows you to choose from several “for the table” items like burrata ($20) and grilled lobster sando ($24). Not only are there table items but a nice selection of fresh salads and adds like rotisserie chicken and seafood. Likewise are further entrees of your choosing like wagyu burger ($29), vegetarian manicotti ($28) and tempura whole fish at market price. Of course, you can also pair your dinner with fine wines by the glass or bottle, premium beer or tasty cocktails. In light of this, you may like fine wines from Napa, Sonoma and Anderson Valley, along with international selections.

Nokori

Also on the lobby level is Nokori, TETRA Hotel’s exquisite Japanese whisky bar. Open daily from 4 p.m. to midnight, Nokori has a sizable Japanese whisky list, featuring leading brands like Hakushu, Hibiki, Nikka and Kaiyō. Coupled with this list are Japanese whisky highballs and alternatives like Japanese vodka or gin, along with non-alcoholic options. Although you may prefer Japanese whisky, there are even more options like previously mentioned for fine beer and wine and other spirits like tequila. If you didn’t try the Hamachi crudo ($22) or grilled lobster sando ($20) at Adrestria, you can still order those as bar bites at Nokori. Likewise are other choices like belly kakuni bao buns ($18), crispy sesame shrimp ($18) and the wagyu burger ($25). There is plenty of seating available at Nokori, including at the bar and the stylish lounge area.

Coffee Manufactory

Adjacent to the hotel’s signature restaurant Adrestia, is the Coffee Manufactory. Offering the hotel’s own gourmet coffee and tea, it’s open at 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., which is helpful if you have to start your day early. Not only can you order coffee, but there are grab-and-go items like Japanese sandos, pastries, yogurt and more. Also available for purchase here are Goldthread plant-based tonics, canned spirits and bottled wine. Coffee Manufactory also stocks bottled wine, with labels like Hall and Fess Parker. Fitness Center & Outdoor Pool

As a guest of this extraordinary Silicon Valley hotel, you have complimentary access to both the fitness center and outdoor terrace pool. The fitness center is adjacent to the outdoor terrace pool and offers an array of cardio and strength equipment. For example, there are Peloton bikes, a rowing machine, treadmills and a full set of free weights. In addition, there are exercise balls, a BOSU trainer and fully functional Technogym weight station. Towels and a sensor enabled water station are also available onsite. On Wednesdays, the hotel offers free yoga and meditation classes in the nexus area between the two hotels. These weekly classes are open not only to hotel guests but to the public as well. As a matter of fact, it won’t be surprising for you to see some tech workers stop by for a brief break from their offices.

Outdoor Terrace Pool

The outdoor terrace pool is absolutely gorgeous and provides scenic views of Silicon Valley. While the pool is not exceptionally large, it’s still large enough to cool off and enjoy the outdoor setting. In addition, the terrace holds several lounge chairs, along with stylish outdoor umbrellas. Alongside the outdoor terrace pool is even more space, equipped with fine outdoor furniture and fire pits. You can find the terrace pool on the hotel’s third level.

Hotel Services

In addition to valet parking and complimentary EV charging, TETRA Hotel offers other convenient guest services. For instance, there are water refill stations on every floor as well as in the lobby area. In addition, the hotel offers daily housekeeping and a dry cleaning service. In addition, there is a business center where Mac desktop computers are available for your own personal use. While there are laptop compatible safes in all guest rooms and suites, you can also use the hotel’s safety deposit boxes by inquiring at the front desk.

Conference/Event Facilities

TETRA Hotel offers approximately 2,000 square feet of conference and special event space that can be configured into three smaller meeting rooms. In other words, the hotel has enough space to conferences, while also being suitable for birthday parties, weddings and other special events. Also available is a full audio visual service, in addition to mobile tech like Microsoft Surface Hub. Aside from the traditional meeting rooms, there are additional multipurpose space available by appointment. This includes the spacious Terrace Pool area, Ardrestia restaurant and the outdoor space that connects TETRA to the AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park.
