Celebrating its 30th year, the San Francisco Marriott Marquis is better than ever after it unveiled its stunning redesign recently in a high profile celebration. With its prime location, the Marriott Marquis is within walking distance of several of San Francisco’s most notable landmarks. This includes Union Square, Museum of Modern Art, Contemporary Jewish Museum, Westfield and Metreon shopping centers, Yerba Buena Gardens and Moscone Center. Also not far is the world famous Chinatown neighborhood, Powell Street BART station, the historic Ferry Building, San Francisco CalTrain Station and Oracle Park. Several exceptional restaurants are also nearby, such as Michelin starred Benu, Mourad, In Situ and Kin Khao, as well as hot new establishments like O’ led by James Beard-award-winning chef Claude Le Tohic and Tsuta, the world’s first Michelin-starred ramen shop.
Completely renovated with contemporary designs and upscale furnishings, the Marriott Marquis features 1,500 rooms including 138 spacious suites and 41 accessible rooms. Guests have several room types to select, from King Rooms and Double Queen Rooms to Hospitality Suites, Presidential Suites and Bi-Level Suites.
Each of the rooms offer a number of modern, conveniences, such as 46” Smart HDTVs, in-room tablets, individual climate control, laptop friendly security safe and multiple electrical and USB outlets. Other amenities include plush bedding, premium bath products, mini-refrigerator and wet bar. Additional features include internet TV with access to TED TV and the electronic tables has a Digital Guest Service Menu, allowing guests to search for local attractions, nearby restaurants or ordering food items to pick up for in-room dining. The hotel does not offer a traditional room service.
The San Francisco Marriott Marquis offers three dining options, in addition to exclusive access to the M Lounge for Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Marriott Bonvoy members. For guests “on the go”, the hotel has a Mission Street Pantry for coffee, quick bites and lunch items. For sit down dining and beverages, the hotel also offers B55 Craft House & Kitchen featuring delectable comfort foods, craft beers and bourbons, and the acclaimed View Lounge offering finely crafted cocktails and small gourmet dishes like ahi tuna poke, garlic prawns and lamb sliders. Located on the 39th floor, the View Lounge opens at 4 p.m. daily and is widely regarded as one of the best spots with spectacular views of the city.
Spa & Fitness
The San Francisco Marriott Marquis features COR Spa and Fitness Center, of the largest facilities of its kind in the City. Open 24 hours daily, the fitness center features state-of-the-art cardio and exercise equipment on the 4th and 5th levels, in addition to steam rooms in the locker rooms. The facility also offers four treatment rooms backed with an impressive COR Spa Menu and staff, with options like body scrubs, integrated massages, facials and body waxing. Locker rentals are available to all guests, with complimentary use available for Marriott Gold level members and above.
As one of San Francisco’s leading business hotels, the Marriott Marquis offers 67 event rooms across more than 135,000 square feet of event space. Of the available space, the hotel’s two largest are the 22,563 square foot Golden Gate Ballroom for up to 2,375 guests and the 39,621 square foot Yerba Buena Ballroom for up to 5,500 guests. The Marriott Marquis also offers a wide range of catering services, like plated meals and buffets, reception dishes, attended food stations and beverage services, including a large selection of California wine and selected labels from Europe.

On-site wedding space includes the famous View Lounge on the 39th floor and Yerba Buena Ballroom for up to 3,120 guests.
