Opened in 2019, BEI San Francisco is an upscale yet moderately priced boutique hotel and the sister property of BEI Zhalolong in Beijing, China. Occupying the former space of the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Civic Center, BEI Hotel San Francisco features 396 guestrooms, two dining options, and 10,000 square feet of co-working, meeting, and event space.

San Francisco Location

Located near the intersection of Eighth and Market Streets, BEI San Francisco is within walking distance of the Orpheum Theatre, City Hall, Asian Art Museum, and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Businesses nearby include Dolby Laboratories and Twitter headquarters. Public transportation is easily accessible on Market Street, with bus stops and Civic Center BART station just minutes away.

Accommodations

The 396 guest rooms average 350 square feet and are nicely appointed, with multifunctional tables, chairs, and premium bedding. Each room features a flat-panel TV, wireless access, laptop safes, and city or courtyard views. Superior Rooms and Executive Rooms are available in double and king configurations. Sum offers a full bar and is open daily for breakfast and dinner. It has bar seats, lounge chairs, and sofas. The intimate dining space hosts daily happy hours and weekly specials. For instance, there’s a bartender’s choice on Try It on Tuesday, featured Wine on Wine Not Wednesday, and Arts and Drafts on Thursday.
