A popular choice for Dartmouth College visitors, it’s the state’s oldest continually operated hotel. What’s more, it offers outstanding furnishings and its Pine Restaurant is exceptionally good. If you visit Hanover, make sure to hike along the famed Appalachian Trail. Of course, the Ivy League Dartmouth College is among the finest in the country.

Omni Mount Washington

Nestled within the breathtaking White Mountains, the Omni Mount Washington is easily among the most distinctive hotels in New England. One of the last remaining grand resort hotels of the Gilded Age. this magnificent structure was completed in 1902 as The Mount Washington. Over its illustrious history, the Mount Washington has hosted several notable people, including three U.S. presidents. Moreover, in 1944, it was the setting for the landmark Bretton Woods Conference, establishing the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
