It might seem hard to imagine that Celebrity Cruises can get any better, but the world’s best premium cruise line did just that.

Celebrity Cruises, winner of Travel Weekly’s Best Premium Cruise Line award for an astounding 11 consecutive years, recently unveiled its latest cruise ship transformation, the Celebrity Summit, as part of the brand’s massive $500-million modernization of its entire fleet, known as the Celebrity Revolution, which earlier launched with the dazzling new state-of-the-art Celebrity Edge and the equally stunning Celebrity Flora, with nearly 20 departures to the incomparable Galápagos Islands.

With significant makeovers to the staterooms and completely redesigned luxury suites from famed British designer Kelly Hoppen, MBE, the Celebrity Summit, under the impassioned leadership of the Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, is completely revitalized, with cutting edge enhancements throughout the premium cruise liner, all the way from the bow to the stern.

Take for example, a completely redesigned casino and multi- award-winning Canyon Ranch at Sea spa, as well the enhanced Persian Garden thermal facility, upgraded wi-fi service, refined art and photo gallery, the enormous re-modernized 3875 square-foot fitness center and the welcome addition of the luxurious Retreat Sundeck, exclusive to Celebrity Suites Class guests, with stylish new cabanas, new hot tub, and complimentary beverage, gourmet food and a concierge service from friendly staff members.

New Dining & Entertainment

The highly anticipated unveiling of the new Celebrity Summit also introduced two extraordinary additions to the brand’s dining and entertainment options. The first is an exciting new partnership between Celebrity Cruises and new Global Culinary Brand Ambassador, Daniel Boulud, the Michelin-starred celebrity chef and owner of his world-famous namesake New York City restaurant Daniel, who will offer many of his acclaimed signature dishes at Luminae, the refined full-service restaurant exclusive to Suites Guests and offered onboard the Celebrity Eclipse, Equinox, Silhouette, Solstice, Reflection, Constellation, Infinity and Millennium, in addition to the Summit.

Additionally, the Summit was the first Celebrity cruise ship to present world-class ballet performances from elite members of New York’s world-renowned American Ballet Theatre (ABT), the first ballet performances ever on a cruise ship. In yet another industry-leading new partnership with Celebrity Cruises, the ABT will feature several performances in upcoming cruises, such as two 7-night Alaska Northern Glacier Cruises in August and Canada/New England cruises in September and October and the 6-night Caribbean cruise, also in October.
